WRLD Online is a curated platform made up of interactive “stations”. Each station is a unique audio + visual experience custom designed around an artist, project, or theme. The platform is free to access, with no ads, sign-ins, or downloads required.

First steps

Basic environment built in unity, basic UI built, music playback and camera movement in place.

V0.2 - March 8

Foundation

Added volume slider, track changing functionality, improved UI, added mailing list UI

V0.3 - March 10

Mailing list update

Got mailing list function to work. Fixed various UI adjustments, fixed artist mapping per song, changed from repeat to shuffle, fixed mailing list not typing, added special effects, added cosmetic improvements.

V0.4 - March 11

UI update

Overhauled UI, improved copy, integrated patreon, added official URL redirecting, added cover image thumbnail for tracks, made horizontal scrolling tracklisting, fixed volume slider not working on mobile

V0.5 - March 12

Artist cards update

Added “artist cards”, fine tuned desktop UI, added visual theme references, did a mobile optimization pass, added option to minimize UI, rebuilt project in Unity 6 and removed intro watermark.

V0.6 - March 13

Mobile update

Mobile overhaul and optimization, optimized social share, added image thumbnail on browser tab, added big pop UI for dev notes and future forum, edited upcoming station genre copy.

V0.7 - V0.9 March 13 - 15

Prep for V1 beta public release

Many UI and UX refinements. Added field blur on desktop.
